Somewhere near Chicago
She seemed like such an ordinary little dog. When everyone first arrived, she had barked and growled a little. But the aggressive show was soon over. Apparently satisfied that none of the newcomers were a threat, she took her place in the center of the room, rolled over and fell asleep.
“Awww…she’s dreaming,” someone said. “Look at how she’s twitching.”
“Must be a heckuva dream. Listen to her growl.”
“I wonder what’s inside that head of hers?”
“Doesn’t sound good…”
