Most pirates have to ply their bloody trade across the skies for years before they get a truly fearsome reputation. You managed it overnight. By accident.
If there were a pirates’ union, they’d be really annoyed with you right now.
But there are bigger things for you to worry about than the stain on your good name. Privateers and pirate-hunters dog your path, respectable ports are closed to you, and you’re forced to rub elbows with the sort of criminal scum you’d rather avoid.
Of course, that’s not even the worst of it. Because if you didn’t kill those people and lay waste to that town, then who did? And what was the purpose of it?
Can you find out before their plan succeeds? Or, more to the point, before you’re blasted out of the sky? Time will tell… but you’ll give it your best shot.
