An old school magical girl story about love and friendship fighting evil

Echo Falls is a sleepy town in the country side where nothing very exciting happens. Each year before the semester starts the high school organises a camping trip for the new students in the nearby woods. It serves to help introduce the students to the people they will be going to school with for the next three years.
The girls of the Lapis cabin had the bad fortune of drawing clean up duty on the first night. So while everyone else is warm and cosy in their cabins they are hard at work cleaning up after the evening meal. The night is cool and quiet. Then a meteor shower flashes over head and something seems to land in the woods nearby. The girls of Lapis cabin decide to investigate. Then their life changes like magic.

This game will similar to things like Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura. A light hearted tale about awesome ladies and awesome friendships between them.
Game is set in Japan.
You will be playing one of the girls from Lapis cabin and the first scene will pick up just before the meteor shower and then you will gain your powers soon after. You will all have some general magic and then each have an element unique to you. You will be given the choice of element as part of the game so no need to include it with you character application.
At the start of the game you would at least know each other’s name and would have spent a day together so you know a bit about each other. If you want to know some or all of the others better we can discuss that in the commentary before we start.
I’m fine with duplicates on strength/weakness/sub plot (as long as you aren’t ALL the same) but I’m likely only going to accept one of each nature.
