Your life flashed before your eyes. You went towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything was just how you expected death to be.
Until you woke up.
Now you wander the city. Unable to interact with anyone or anything from your former life.
Trying desperately to keep out of sight of the things that stalk the shadows.
Surely there’s got to be more to the afterlife than this… Right?
Shades of the Lantern Tree is a story about a group of recently deceased teenagers who might have a chance to return to the living. If they can earn it.
Characters should be between 16 and 18 years old and recently dead.
I’m looking for 5-6 players, as I’ve found that normally means a good pace. Even if life gets busy for a couple of players.
Speed is set to 2-3 scenes per week but I’m on this site far more than is good for me. So if people post, I’ll be moving things along. =)
I’m happy for people to create their own cards, so long as they’re willing to revise if I don’t feel it’s appropriate for the setting. That being said, I love incorporating ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of myself.
Tone wise I’m looking for something akin to the TV shows Supernatural or Teen Wolf. Serious themes are not off limits but shouldn’t be used gratuitously.
