xThe BLUD (Biological Logistics for Unusual Discoveries,) society has theorized for many years that many animals thought to be extinct in fact exist in isolated locations around the world. After saving donations for several years, they now have enough to purchase an airship, large enough to transport even the largest of these theoretical animals and also have the money to hire on a crack team of researchers, hunters, and scholars to go out on expeditions in this ship, which is called “the Gilgamesh.”
The team is to travel around the world and gather samples of unusual life they find and return it to Italy for study. Their globe-trotting adventures will lead them straight into an arms race they don’t even know about. The story will see the players travel to exotic locations, (mostly lost world sorts of places,) and deal with ancient life, both real and imaginary, as well as a rival group of hunters whose goals are not as benevolent as their own.
some things to consider
- I am blind and cannot provide art for custom cards. I don’t require art from my players.
- I believe the journey is more the important thing so the story will probably have a happy ending more or less no matter what your characters do, though how they get there will drastically change.
- I prefer that players write in the past tense, but that’s not a hard rule.
- feel free to make your own cards and natures and stuff, I certainly do and most of my challenges will be custom made.
- I like to go as fast a possible, I’ll slow down if needed, but the “normal,” choice on speed is the pace I’d like to set.
- I do not believe in word limits so there will be none unless a player goes completely nuts. I also keep comments private to facilitate story-building.
