It has been a year since an inexplicable horror came to New York: a horror of missing children, of green-eyed demons who stalked the night, of a mysterious portal that nearly devoured a police station and then vanished without a trace.
Those who remember that night – those who survived – have each come to terms with what happened in their own way. Some set out to find the truth. Others looked inward to examine their own souls. However they chose to deal with it, none were ever quite the same again.
But now it seems the horror is not over.
Far from the bustling streets of New York, a new but familiar terror has come into the world. In the rural town of Ashland, Nebraska, the game of MAZELORD has become popular with the kids. And now, just like in New York, some have gone missing.
Worse, a few have come back… and come back wrong.
In a quiet corner of America, Satan’s game has begun again.
