“$300,000, do I say 4? I see $400,000 to the lady in the front row, can I see 6? $600,000 to the handsome man in the back, give me 7, I’m looking for 7…$700,000 to the man over there, $700,000 going once…going twice…8! I see $800,000 going once…going twice- oh my god is that 9!?” The auction only continued to get more intense as customers continued to bid money.
“$1,600,000 going once…going twice…sold to the woman in row four!”
What could have been so important, or wanted to where you would be over a million dollars? A simple penthouse building. In which she rented out each penthouse apartment it different tenants, and made twice as much as she bid from the rent they paid.
It became the number one Penthouse Building in New York City. But, the prices are quite high. Much too high for a single person to pay for! That’s why, the woman created a special program for renters.
Find me a roommate.
Where she lists eligible renters that apply and pair them up with complete strangers to all live in the same apartment. The idea itself was genius and could most likely become popularized when helping people pay their rent and bills. But the problem? Could it be a bad idea to put strangers in one penthouse apartment with or without proper background checks?
It’s only a matter of time until the answer is given.
