A bit of Lovecraft, a bit of Christie… some may call it plagiarism, I call it horror with a murder mystery.
The characters are travelling on the famed Orient Express, known for its exceptional service and luxurious travel. You boarded in Istanbul and will disembark in Calai. However, on your second night of the journey, the train must stop because of a snow drift somewhere near Vinkovci. During this time, a gruesome discovery is made.
The first scene of the story would be the first night of the journey, the train having not long left Istanbul, giving everyone a chance to meet each other before things get Lovecraftian.
New to this type of storytelling, however, I think this will be fun and right for you if you are a fan of either author.
