In the city of Old Chapel, science reigns supreme and inventors crowd out those who fail to advance technology. Competition is fierce, and the gangs are fiercer, each sect struggling to remain afloat in the daily race to the top.
Everything grinds to a halt on the day the Lords of Bane decree a new religion to be adopted by the people of Old Chapel. It comes without logic and without prelude, and few are truly ready to accept their new fate.
It is up to those unafraid of the Lords of Bane to return Old Chapel to its shining heyday. Among the resistance is the crew of the Airship Vengeance. They retreat to their lofty home away from the seething masses of Old Chapel, and from there they plan their retaliation on the Lords of Bane.
