The world of Rhada is a slave to traditions, and anyone who tries to throw off the shackles of those traditions faces the wrath of Rhada’s cruel King. Rebels fight the King, and although three revolts rage across the Kingdom, all three are fighting to a stalemate. Now the King has unveiled “The way of the Well-lit Path,” a religious order that has demonstrated through interpretation of historical and dvine stories, that the King’s actions are completely justified and that the people, suffering as they are, should bend to his will and continue to follow the traditions of thousands of years.
The people of Rhada aren’t stupid, but they’re afraid, and the “way of the Well-lit Path,” is very good at bending religious beliefs to serve their agenda.
That is where you come in. The rebellion you serve has hired you, a band of performers to win back the hearts and minds of the people of Rhada with your performances. It won’t be asy, as the will of so many has been utterly broken, and it won’t be safe because of the secret police, spies, and assassins everywhere that enforce the King’s cruel decrees, but if people of Rhada are going to know true freedom, they will need your help before the sham church completely makes itself the center of so many lives.
This is a high-fantasy game where players play as performers traveling throughout Rhada for one of the rebellions, trying to break the hold the King’s wicked church has over the people before it is too late. Players will have a mix of designing and performing, and also dangers from spies, both as forces of intrigue and direct physical threats, and probably some political intrigue as well.
Disclaimer: although a major force of evil in this world is a false religion, the narrator and host of this game has very positive feelings about religion and does not consider religion evil.
