The land of Esfah was a magnificent realm where magic flourished and civilization thrived.
During the past decades, King Magnus Ardis battled and fended Esfah’s enemies off its soil. However he didn’t manage this alone. With him were his friends, famous heroes that used to accompany him in their many quests during their youth.
However, many decades later and Esfah’s glory has waned. The king is lying ill, stricken down by a malevolent sickness that consumes both his body and his will to survive.
In these times, opportunists have risen, eager to “consume” Esfah’s rotting corpse. Thus Queen Aveline has once again called for the heroes, her husband’s friends.
However, this time the heroes didn’t answer directly, for they had either died by age or in one of their many adventures!
Their apprentices or heroes of youth managed to answer her call and now, in the throne room of Esfah, they enter in reverence. Ready for many new adventures in the name of the kingdom they love!
