The Earth’s population had hardly any time to calm down after the 2016 blockbuster release, Rogue One when the Crippled appeared. The upcoming Christmas swiftly transformed into a shitstorm and thus a new era began.
A group of barely men and women appeared into the homes, offices, cars, restaurants, parks, graves and gyms of dozens of people from all around the world all at once. Their bandaged, blind eyes, rotten clothes and contorted limbs shook the world over. Like something out of Silent Hill, the hellish creatures seemed to start fits of epileptic seizures before relaying a message to their chosen ones. They were time travelers from a broken and fruitless future and by their words you were the only people capable of changing their lives and subsequently? Of saving humanity.
This is a story set in modern times with no magic involved. I’m looking for a diverse group of characters. If this premise interests you then please read the rules for further details. Your characters will be racing around the world looking for clues and solutions to their problems. Ideally, I’m looking for a mixture of urgent drama with comedy, I want to make the characters feel uncomfortable and lost and out of place at every turn. The story is going to start at the Greek Embassy, DC, USA. Your character shouldn’t have a reason to be there. They’ll be transported there by the Crippled.
