The sound was screechy. Electronic. Years of sci fi miniseries had prepared you: an EMP. You know what it did. You know what it means. No communication, and people getting desperate. Although there aren’t many people. From what you can gather from your town only 10% are still around.
After a year of scrounging, avoiding alliances and just keeping yourself alive you’ve started to notice more people disappearing. Those you’ve watched. Those you’ve stolen from. Here today, gone tomorrow.
Will your turn come?
One Year and One Month After The Pulse: You have woken up, sand and salt in your nose and mouth. The scene is beautiful, a tropical paradise, but you can’t shake the feeling that something is just not right even though you can’t remember much… just wisps of dreams that may have been your life. You find materials, set up a camp and try to get your bearings, each night dreaming of a small village stocked with essentials.
The game opens with you and three others finding each other on the other side of the island and realizing that you’re all dreaming of the same place. That means it must exist right?
=====Characters can be any age/gender but there are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind, please take note of the following to help keep the game tight and also avoid giving away secrets…
gender (biological and/or how they identify)age (at least 12 years old)where lived at time of pulse (anywhere is fine)occupation at time of pulseliving situation at time of pulsebiggest fear before pulsebiggest fear nowlife dream/goal before pulse
Privately, please, message me something from your character’s past that they did but got away with that would be considered immoral/unethical/criminal. It doesn’t have to be huge. But it can be. Based on the results I may have to ask people to change things up in order to go with the outline I have for the game.
Once characters are approved I will send information to individual players. Please only join the game if you can commit to keep the “crime” you come up with and the secret info I provide you for your character a secret - this will help greatly with the game.
I’d love to have a gchat dedicated to players where we can share ideas and I can get input on the direction/pace of the story. But no sharing secrets there :) If not everyone has gchat maybe we can start a group email or use the sidebar chat.
