This is not your average group of 10 year old kids running around the Kalos region. These are A group of friends who had grown up together with Pokemon. When they first got their Pokemon they got to doing their own things, like breeding Pokemon or becoming a ranger. They Stayed around their home town throughout the years, getting together about every week.
During a weekly get together they decided that they would go on a journey across the region. Go sightseeing, beat the gyms, and maybe even catch some rare Pokemon. When they were ready they gathered some supplies and headed out.
The story starts as they are saying their goodbyes to their family as they leave for their journey. These character will all be around 14-15 years old, and somewhat experienced. All of them already know each other. Your strengths and weaknesses should be personality traits that affect them in or out of battle. You each get one Pokemon at the beginning. It can be given to them by a professor or handed down from a family member. feel free to get creative with your characters relation ship with their Pokemon. When choosing your starter. It can be any basic (Pikachu) or baby (Pichu) Pokemon. It however cannot be evolved, legendary, or a fossil. It can be from generation, and does not have to be a starter. If you choose or catch a Pokemon that needs a stone to evolve and you want it to evolve, I will at some point in the story give you that chance. If we do make it far enough, and we complete the Kalos region we can choose a new region for the characters to explore.
For those of you joining through open invitations it will only be a four player at a time game. This will be a first come first serve basis. If a character drops out then anyone waiting will be accepted.
some game play info:
If you are playing cardson a pokemon battle only play one at a time so it can be turn based.
Any single pokemon are optional but trainers are mandatory. The trainer issues the battle but you can choose when you start it.
You can catch a Pokemon the same turn you weaken it enough.same turn.
Comment on the challange and the first comment gets that challenge. So say you want to fight a wild Pidgey you would say in the comment section “Dibs on the pidgey”
When you run out of cards fo a move that is when you pokemon can learn the next move. But if you learn the new one it forgets how to use the old one. If you want to keep the old move you get a full stack of it again and then you don’t learn the new one.
