The context i am using for this story is the background of my next game, a Tactical RPG, as such, you can guess it has a secondary goal; to develop the world and lore of my future creation.
This story begins in a time when the world we know of is but legends. Thousands of years after the destruction of our civilizations, a new world has started to sprout. Atop the ruins of our civilization, plants have reclaimed their rights, and humans, have got back to the way of nature.
But this is not the world we knew of, after the events that led to our world’s end, the world has started shifting. New species appeared at an unnatural speed while the old ones evolved at a frightening rate, climate and geography where modified and formerly unbelievable became reality. Twisting the rules of nature and logic as we knew them.
Survival has come back into the world we once knew, and with it, human evolution.
Nature-wise, I’ll be creating a little window of classes that are already, or will be, part of my game. You are free to use one of them you fancy or to create an entirely new one but i advice you to go trough a few of them, it will give you a lot of info about the lore. Anything will be permitted, as with evolution running amok, I’ve got no issue with your character having unique powers or features as long as it has a semi-rational explication evolution-wise, try to explain why your character has such or such traits. If you want your character to have poor traits for it’s birth environment, remember pure errors in your character’s own DNA can occur, even ones unsuited to survival.
However, i want to remind you that everyting comes with a cost, and evolution does not escape this rule. When modifications in your DNA creates new traits and abilities, the subject loses other traits. Also try to find a barely logical explanation between fantasy-like attributes.
I’ll be providing a few Strength and weaknesses as an example but ideally just create your own, I’ll accept hopefully anything.
Obviously, you are freely to choose your goals, i have set a few example but have fun creating your own. As long as you believe it can be achieved in the story, i do not have any constraint.
Finnally, try to give as much detailed info as possible in your character’s Bio, don’t hesitate to add any category.
I am not picky, but i do prefer drawings to photos or photorealistic picture, if that’s not an issue with you i would be glad if you could try to find some, eastern or western-styles are both great, they just fit better in the world i have in my head.
