It started as an innocent enough flight. Perhaps you were on business or merely traveling for pleasure. But whatever the cause for you to be on the doomed Flight I49, what came next was a surprise.
About four hours into the flight, the pilot came over the intercom with the announcement that there was more turbulence than expected and he requested everyone to take their seat and buckle up. A short time after that, a storm formed and the plane became a small island in the vast sea of darkness in the stormy sky.
The strong winds and dark clouds led the small aircraft off course. It wasn’t long before the pilot came back on and told everyone to prepare for a crash landing.
The plane came barreling out of the sky and managed a rough landing… until it slid nose-first into a tree. The impact knocked everyone unconscious, killing the pilot and co-pilot. As the survivors came to, they stumbled out of the downed plane to find themselves on the beach of an island. All cell phones showed no signal and an enterprising passenger braved the gore of the smashed cockpit to discover that the radio was a crushed mess with little hope of even attempting to salvage it.
===================================
Welcome! You’ll be playing as one of the stranded survivors from doomed Flight I49. Your pilot and co-pilot were killed in the crash and the plane is such a wreck that even if you knew how to fly it, you had no hope of going home that way.
But, hey, look on the bright side. You’re on this beautiful beach on this lovely island. What could go wrong?
Famous last words, right?
==============================
I’m hoping to keep this mostly story-driven with the cards as prompts (Though, warning, the first part will be heavily narrated most likely, but it’ll shift more to more player driven as it moves along). This is my first time narrating, so hopefully I don’t screw it up too badly.
I’m looking for 4-6 players from all walks of life. Modern day technologies, though they don’t work well on the island. Phones and such would still run until batteries have died, but no radio or cell phone signals and no electricity. You’d be able to dig out whatever luggage you packed, though some of it might be damaged.
Feel free to make custom cards! You’re not limited to what I’ve set. (And feel free to add in pictures as well.)
This will probably end up being a longer story (sorry! or not sorry, depending), so you’ve been warned.
