Welcome troubleshooter!
Your service to the Computer is rewarded! Congratulations - you are meow Red security clearance. This is evidence of the Computer’s love and trust in you.
You are assigned your first mission with your fellow Troubleshooters but beware, there are traitors! You must IMMEDIATELY report any treasonous behaviour or suspicion of treasonous behaviour to the Computer. Failure to do so is treason.
Some of your fellow Troubleshooters may serve the Computer as Guardian of Internal Security. They are present for your protection. They will report any treasonous behaviour or hint of treasonous behaviour to the Computer. Rejoice that any treason among your companions will be discovered and punished.
Devote your service to the Computer. Your loyalty will be generously rewarded.
You must fulfil your mission. The safety of your fellow Troubleshooters and the security of Alpha Complex depends on you.
You will be assigned equipment. Give thanks for the Computer’s bountiful generosity! Preserve this equipment from damage or theft. Only a traitor would be careless with the Computer’s precious resources.
You mission may take you to unfamiliar sections of the complex. Your mission may take you outside. Be prepared! Know the enemy! Guard against treason! Serve the Computer! The Computer is your friend.
Paranoia takes place in the Alpha Complex, a perfect society. Everyone has a role to fulfil in service of the Computer. It is a comedy.
Your character belongs to a service group which is their role. Every Troubleshooter has a mutant power (which is treason) and belongs to a secret society (which is treason).
Your name is reflective of who you are, your security level, the three letter code of where you live (any three letters you like) and your current clone number. E.g. Annie-R-KEY-1. Annie is a Red security clearance Troubleshooter from Key sector and is the first of her clones.
It is meant to be fun. There is meant to be treason and you are meant to die is stupid and funny ways.
In your background, tell me about your mutant power and your secret society.
