This is a game called “Useful.” A world of magic and monsters has it’s checks and balances. Not just anyone can roam freely. Only the vetted few have License to take their power and move freely around the world. In order to earn your First License, you have to be young and aspiring, and you have to play the game. All Applicants are let free in the most diverse city possible for one year. They come from all over, from every race and denomination, to play the game. At the end of the year, if you pass, you’re issued your License. If you fail, you’re banished back to your home city. In the Game there are no real rules, nothing is set in stone. The only absolutely necessary factor? You have to be “useful.”
