This is a story about how two close friends met in a town named Garigill.
This features two of my characters, Harley, and Twila.
Twila is a rather sadistic and manipulative vampire who eventually opens up to Harley, and reveals that she could be a very sweet and caring person.. despite the fact that she relies on blood to survive.
Ah, but no worries! She doesn’t attack humans for their blood. She relies on hunting down small birds and mice/rats for her blood.

Harley is a curious, happy-go-lucky file clerk/inventor who happens to come across a homeless Twila, and decides to take her in! He offers her a spot at his apartment, and treats her as if she was his own child.
He isn’t aware that Twila is a vampire, however, and wonders why she only wakes up at night and go out to “get a bite to eat”.

There are many hidden dangers in Garigill. There is a murder spree occurring around town, and Harley wants to find out what’s behind it all, and drags Twila along with him on the journey.
He assumes that because he has many gadgets to aid him in his quest to find the culprit of the murders, he won’t get killed in the process.
