For years, humanity has been exploring the cosmos. The USS Gemini, able to drift into the farthest reaches of space, has been commissioned by the US military and staffed with soldiers and scientists alike for a ten-year voyage to scope out an uninhabited moon that could house a new colony. On the horizon, however, is the planet Carcharodon, whose inhabitants have a deep seated hatred of Earth. Tensions between the two planets have been building for a decade, and the people of Carcharodon have been waiting for any excuse to attack. If things go south, the exploration mission might end up being a rescue mission…
