It’s 2643 and Ohanko now stands as the largest megacity on the planet. What used to be Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Chicago now flow endlessly as one sprawling harbor town.
The future isn’t quite what we expected. Cars don’t fly, the internet is heavily censored, and income disparity keeps the poor in the slums and the rich in the high rises. Hey, at least we ditched fossil fuels.
One advancement we have made, augments. It started as a military project, but soon spread through the nation. It started as mind tweaks. Just simple chips placed in your brain to make you faster or more efficient. It soon grew to the market we know today.
The government (Now a corporate sponsored activist group headed by the upper echelon of businesses in the country) has done its best to lock down the more dangerous augs, but try as they might, it can’t be stopped. Want to move so fast it looks like you’re teleporting? There’s an aug for that. Want to be able to punch through a tank? There’s an aug for that. Want to be able to detect heat signatures through concrete? There’s an aug for that too.
What are you? Well I guess we’ll find out. What you should know though is that in Ohanko, someone is always pulling the strings.
