Mythik is a fictional town set on the New England coast that boasts picturesque Colonial homes, quaint storefronts, rambling stone walls, manicured gardens, sheltering woods, and peaceful beaches. It is the kind of town where neighbors are friendly, problems are simple, and parents don’t worry for their children’s safety. At least that is how it appears, and for most people, they will never know otherwise.
However, behind the idyllic facade there is another side to Mythik. In homes as old as the Puritans linger secrets, truths hidden for the greater good, truths so incredible and terrible that they cannot stay locked away forever. Some of the town’s families are just as old, bloodlines stretching back to the earliest days, legacies that rival the horror of the secrets and continue to flow in the veins of its current heirs. And deep in the woods there are places that the Native Americans feared, places that gave rise to things that the elder people banished or bound, but never truly destroyed.
Mythik Mysteries is a series of tales of the town and its secrets; tales of a group of young friends who begin to learn of these secrets and who come face to face with the most frightening of them; and tales of transformation, as the friends learn about themselves and must confront their own darkness if they are to survive childhood.
Mythik Mysteries is horror. It is the Hardy Boys Meet Cthulhu.
