You’re on your way to northern Canada for reasons all your own when an announcement comes over the loudspeaker that all flights have been canceled due to an impending winter storm. Eager to reach your destination, you convince the captain of a small charter plane leaving on its last run to bring mail to a small village near where you need to be to let you on for a fee, of course.
You and a handful of anxious passengers board the cramped single-engine airplane along with its seasoned pilot and co-pilot. There’s just enough room for you, your bags, and the mail cargo. You are in the air for only a couple of hours when the storm proves too much for the pilot. With little warning, the pilot tells you to prepare for a crash landing.
