Monroe Academy is set in the extended DAO universe. Other games in the same universe are DAO Season 1, DAO Season 2, and Safe Haven Games. There is also a Wiki, Scarlettfiles.com. (Work in Progress) Don’t be daunted by the extensive history. Each game is a self contained story. No previous knowledge is required.
The world Monroe Academy is set in is similar to ours. Though there is a fantasy twist. In this world, the supernatural and the fantastic exist. Aliens have visited. Fey toy with mortals. Scientist fiddle with the very fabric of space and time.
Until six months ago, the average denizen of Earth had no idea. It wasn’t until the EVENT in the Bronx. The DAO thwarted a megalomaniacal theologian’s plans to take over the world. At that moment, everyone found out how crazy their world could be. Since then, more and more of what was once hidden in the shadows has had light shown upon it. The world is in a time of transition.

Your characters are students of Monroe Academy. Through the school has been around for many years, it is just recently become open to the public. Most of the students were refereed by the DAO when their powers become uncontrollable. All of the Students at Monroe Academy are gifted in someway. They can be supernatural creatures, ex-cultists, gifted magically, have a burgeoning aptitude for super science, or be one of the many who have spontaneously exhibited super powers.
