From the people who brought you the top rated, NecronomiCOM: Startup Hell, comes bold new series that shines a light into the darkness of medical dramas!
Working at one of the country’s top teaching hospitals isn’t easy. No one gets out of the hospital unchanged — not one patient, not one doctor. Especially, if you work at Miskatonic Hospital.
Ranked #2 among the Top Ten Teaching Hospitals, according to U.S Media & World Events (though there is some controversy about the Mi-Go Clinic holding the #1 spot), Miskatonic is able to choose from among the best to enter their program. Most well known for their Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Reanimation & Golem Construction Surgery, and Psychiatry departments; MH admits only a chosen few each year.
Can the this year’s crop of hopefuls make the grade? Will the current staff make the cut and retain their coveted positions? What happens with life, love and eldritch horror collide at… Miskatonic Hospital?
NARRATOR NOTES
Welcome back, NCom cast, and welcome aboard any new cast members. I want to share a few things for you to keep in mind when creating characters and before we kick things off.
First, feel free to create any sort of regular hospital staff you wish to play as part of this storyline, with the following limitations:
*Do not create any administrative staff level characters (executives, Chief of Surgery, etc.). Those positions are reserved for NPCs.
*Please ensure that this is a character who would logically be at a hospital for the entire duration of this game (this means that patients will probably not make good characters, so I suggest avoiding that concept).
*Creation of new or editing of existing Nature, Strength, Weakness and Subplot cards is acceptable, and even recommended.
Second, I have learned in the various games I have played and narrated that Normal Speed is not 2-3 scenes per week. It is more likely 1 scene per week with 2-4 continuations. So, let’s all be patient with each other, contribute as much as you like, but be respectful of those who cannot maintain a rate of multiple posts a day.
Finally, I run games with an endgame in mind. This game is planned to run for 4 chapters, with 3-4 scenes per chapter. It may go longer depending on what we come up with collaboratively, but I do feel that the best stories come to a satisfying conclusion, rather than dying of being drawn out too long.
