Werewolves, witches and fae struggle to survive in a city dominated by vampire lords. The political struggles among the undead elite cause them to ally with – or dominate – other supernatural beings as well as mortals. Is anyone truly safe when for a vampire, any edge could mean the difference between a rise to ultimate power and paying the ultimate price for failure?
In this game of urban horror and romance, the players are either vampire lords or a member of a supernatural group such as fae, werewolves, or witches, and will be allied with one another.
Applicants should describe what makes their character unique and interesting beyond the basic powers that might be expected of your supernatural type. What kind of fae are you? Are you a particular breed of werewolf? What sort of witchcraft is your specialty? If a vampire, what special power does your bloodline possess?
Wild cards are typically used to describe a supernatural power your character can use – or a weakness. The narrator also gives out assets that represent a power or powers that will be useful to your character in a story. Use wisely, though! The narrator usually gives them out just once per chapter.
