A theater.
A locked door.
A serial killer.
And a humongous group of people.
What could go wrong?
The musical Hamilton is in New York City!
Everyone loves it. Tickets are getting sold out as fast as they go out.
Thankfully, you got a ticket. You run in, anxious to see it, and exited once you finally get in! The show is wonderful, and you love it. The actors leave the stage, and the doors close.
People start getting up, and filtering through the large, double doors. Except…. They’re locked. All of the doors are.
You’re trapped.
After about 7 minutes in, a voice comes on the intercom.
“This is the police. Do not panic. The reason that you are locked in is that there are criminals in the theater. Again, do not panic. The doors will stay locked until we decide what to do. We have a detective, and a nurse. Please, stay calm.”
The criminals in question were not just thieves- they were killers. Even though the room did not know this, and despite the numerous ‘Do not panics’, the room panicked. There was a criminal! They were stuck! And- and the lights.. They were flickering.
“This is unreasonable!”
“I have KIDS!”
“My flight is at 6:30, and it’s 5:30!” Numerous shouts filled the room.
Then the lights went out.
