Ever since it was the first colony to chafe at the British yoke, New Hampshire has held rebellion in high esteem. Off its coast sit the Shoals, cutting edge bubble cities, self-sustained and seemingly independent. Closed off from the toxic Atlantic, they think they’re immune to the wars, famines, plagues, and general malaise that threaten to overwhelm modern civilization.
They’re dead wrong.
Inspirations include Akira, Blade Runner, A Clockwork Orange, Demolition Man, Dredd, Fahrenheit 451, Outland, Robocop, Ronin, The Running Man, Series 7: The Contenders, Soylent Green, and others I’m sure I’m forgetting.
