While the colonial infrastructure across the local systems has flourished in the latter half of the 22nd century, the citizens of First Earth have remained reluctant to traverse the ebon, starlit skies.
The staggering population density and dwindling resources, compounded with mismanagement in the past few centuries has left First Earth a husk of its former glory. Meanwhile, culture abounds and flourishes in the reaches of the colonies.
In one of many such efforts to slow the timer on First Earth’s death-watch and entice First Worlders to emigrate, The Legacy Program has selected a documentary crew to pioneer a mission across known space and explore the wonders of the colonies and settled worlds. Among the crew are also trained military personnel, professional interplanetary survivalists, entrepreneurs, engineers and maintenance crews to keep the ship running, as well as the daughter of the trillionaire xeno-genetic engineer, and founder of The Legacy Program.
