See those things coiled up on deck? Those are the ropes!
Heh. Well, joking aside, if you’re going to survive in these waters, you’re going to need to learn to sail. That’s where all the money is, unless you’ve got some sort of marketable skill. Which, from the looks of you, I’m going to guess you haven’t.
So, sailing’s what it’ll have to be. But whether you sign up for the Navy, a merchant ship like this one–or, heaven help you, a life of piracy–it all works the same way. And once I’m done with you, you’ll be ready for your new life on the high seas… whatever form it may take!
The brilliant blue Azurite Ocean is littered with tiny islands, small communities of colonists just trying to survive.
But this is not their story. This is the story of the infamous merchant galleon, the Lone Shark, and her equally infamous captain, Morgana DeWitt, a woman known for picking up dockside drifters and turning them into seasoned sailors. It’s a story of stowaways and shipwrecks, gamblers and adventurers–anyone who might find themselves pressganged into service on the Shark.
And, if you want it to be, it could be YOUR story too.
