The Guardians. Brave men and women who face the horrible manifestation of the Old Ones with powerful magic and deadly weapons. They are paragons of virtue, and keep the world safe.
Flip the coin.
They are damned. Their powers come from the same demons they are fighting. In time, they will become like them. It’s a gradual corruption of the body and the mind. They are only delaying the inevitable.
You are not alone.
There are others who fight the war on shadows. They call themselves the Templars. They possess advanced technology, and fight both the darkness and its servants for the greater good of all.
You are alone.
No one has ever seen their leader. They hunt the Guardians. What happens then? Experiments that no one is allowed to talk about. They silence all dissent with excessive force. And they are always watching.
Slip through the cracks.
Many others are drawn into the secret world. Private investigators, occultists and treasure hunters seeking fame, fortune, or just answers. Few come back with both their body and mind intact.
Dark days are coming.
Despite the Guardians’ best efforts, the Old Ones’ influence cannot be fully contained. Unspeakable things lurk in the shadows, and there are places too twisted for the laws of reality to have any relevance. No one is safe.

Last Light is a Cosmic Horror / Urban Fantasy game for 2 to 4 players. Each player will have their own individual game, while this will be used for communications and global events.
Creation of new cards is allowed and encouraged. The story will have very dark themes, and will be more focused on character issues and dialogue than fight scenes.
