The Kingdom of Confection is a loose alliance of nations that have come together in face of the horrible monsters that lurk within and just outside their borders.
Constantly under assault by the Cavity Menace the Kingdom is place of constant war. Soldiers line up to the slaughter in protection of the people and places they love. Adventurers travel the lands in search of ancient treasures and daring quests. Sugarmancers and scholars seek to understand the nature of things and gather knowledge for the betterment of themselves or society.
The Kingdom of Confection is made up of three smaller nations. The Council of Candy to the south has seen the most war with the Cavity Menace and is made up of a diverse group of people. The Gingerbread Men are tribes of nomads that travel the grasslands in the northwest with their large groups of livestock. The Pastry Plains and Pretzel Peninsula are somewhat united kingdom north of the Council of Candy.
The Gingerbread Men, Pastry Plains, and Pretzel Peninsula all worship the Great Mother Oven, an immense and ancient structure that lies between the Gingerbread Grasslands and Pastry Plains. It is considered holy ground, and younglings are brought there to be baked into adulthood at their coming of age.
The Council of Candy resides mostly in the Candy City. The surrounding lands include the Peppermint Plains, Rock Candy Crags, Gumdrop Gulch, Syrup Swamps, and many others.
To the northeast of the Council of Candy and Pastry Plains is the Great Cola Sea, plied by dangerous monster and pirates.
