An unceasing rain has flooded the land, drowning mountains, kingdoms, and histories alike in the swell of the Great Sea. On the shrinking isles that once sat at the top of the world, bastions of common folk cling to life amidst desperadoes, pirates, and soggy-minded madmen. From the safety of the floating Gutterraft, the Last City, the Steam Barons and High Mages have all but given up on searching for an end to the Everrain. Life is dangerous, lawless–justice is decided by the quickest draw and deepest purse. Still, sailors tell of an ancient threat stirring in the inky depths below. Few take heed, and fewer still will take action. Let’s hope they are not too late.
