The call for caravan guards had slowed to a trickle in this busy trading town. The season grows late, and everyone knows that traveling in the winter brings more hazards than worthwhile.
Thus, today, the last call for caravan guards went out. This last caravan train is leaving before the winter snow begins in two weeks.
For your own reasons, you’ve decided to join. You went through a magical swearing that you would guard the caravan (of 3 wagons) and its two passengers - a boy and his mother - to the best of your abilities until the caravan reached the village of Tigel. There, the mother and child will be reunited with family, and the adventurers would be rewarded.
