Seattle’s on the verge of a civil war that most people don’t know about. Its magical underground, populated by magical creatures including ki-rin, werewolves, faeries, djinni, elementals, oracles, is facing the power vacuum left by the death of not one but three major players: the wizard Natalie Onion, ancient vampire Saladin, and the patriarch of the were-dragon clan. All bets are off and anyone can claw their way to the top of Seattle’s mystical food chain – if they can make it all the way there.
