Lynn was beyond happy when she saw them back and with Qzalati, but she was surprised that Qzalati looks different, taller for sure. She did not say anything but ran toward Deuron and gave him a big hug.
Thanking both for finding Qzalati. “Nathar, how did you find her?” Lynn asked. Then she turned to Qazalati “Why did you run away? What was wrong?”
There was something suspicious but there is no time to waste it thinking of it. Wazaqa wrote on Lynn’s arms, *its time to go, soon it will be pleasant out side, we need to head to the lake, at the end of the lake there will be another land. There is no way you can swim to the end, you will have to figure out how to get to the other end, I must warn you that it may take about an hour to get there but during which the weather will be changing so you all will have to work together.
Once we get to the lake, I will have to leave Lynn’s body, I won’t survive there and I don’t want to harm this kind-hearted girl.
In 5 minutes we will have to go to the lake, please do as I say or you will be out there with this unbearable weather.*
They all looked at each other, terrified, but have no time to waste.
“Why did you run away? What was wrong?” Lynn asked.
“I was scared! I don’t like the Wazaqa! It’s evil!” Qzalati shouted pointing at the mystical writing on Lynn’s arms.
“But then I got lost, and I almost froze to death!” the teenager started to cry suddenly. “This ‘Purple Land’ is bad! We have to escape from this place!” she sobbed.
Suddenly she grasped Lynn tightly. “Please! We have to get away from here!” the witch whispered as she hugged the dreamer and wept.
Qzalati could sense the Wazaqa inside of Lynn. She reached out with psychic tendrils and touched the magickal lizard. It was deeply embedded in the dreamers soul, curled up tightly around her heart.
The Wazaqa purred with pleasure as the witch caressed it, lulling it into a false sense of security. Then suddenly she struck! The slimy mental images combined into an Octopus, which ensnared the Lizard, choking it and drawing it into it’s bird like beak and consuming it!
These images passed through Lynn’s mind’s eye and she was terrified! She shoved Qzalati away and took two steps backwards. She didn’t know what was real anymore!
Dueron had no idea why Lynn was suddenly recoiling from Qzalati, but it didn’t bode well. He growled softly, low in his throat, and laid his ears back at the young witch.
“Wazaqa has not treated us evilly, so far,” he said in a calm tone that nevertheless held an edge.
He raised his head to sniff the air. “Sirocco,” Dueron said, “I wonder if you could determine if there is anything at the far end of the lake that needs to be found–and if there is, could you bring it to us?”

“The Wazaqa IS evil!” the brunette announced sternly. “It stung Lynn’s leg, infested her soul, and threatened to destroy her body as soon as we arrived in this cursed land!”
“And it broke my umbrella!” the Witch shouted with an unnatural voice, thrusting her fists in the air above her head exasperatedly.
“But now I have a wand!” the teen continued to rant as she thrust the purple branch out in front of her like a fencer with a foil. “The Waqaza was not the ONLY reptilian in our party. We do not need IT’S sacrifice to traverse these waters, for there is another choice!”
Without warning Qzalati spun around and tapped Nathar’s shoulder with her wand before dancing away laughing with glee.
A ebony aura started to form around the snake-man’s silhouette. He was paralyzed. The darkness grew into a shadow and he screamed. But his cry’s were lost into silence as the blackness slowly engulfed him completely until he was no more.
Qzalati dashed off, running to the purple lakes shore. Her appearance had changed once again, now she wore a long black dress, her brown pony tail now free of it’s constraints, flowing supernaturally in the wind.
“My Magick can take us to the other side… But you have to trust me!” Qzalati pleaded to Lynn, Dueron and the others. “Are we all friends?”
