In the late third century A.D. c.289 many cities around the world simply vanished, there populations moved almost twenty thousand light-years across the galaxy. Some blamed the barbarians, others said it was the will of a vengeful god. As for those taken their lives were radically changed. The alien force that brought them there was never seen again. Among the Empires of man the Romans were the first to rebuild making great cities and even greater walls. Over hundreds of year’s war consolidated under the Roman banner and in the year 1637 AD they walked on Roma Nova’s second moon.
Shortly thereafter within about forty-five years after they had colonies on their two habitable moons along with the first Stella Coegi (Star Drive). After this point no longer would wars be man against man, the empire expanded into space, colonizing worlds and conquering others. Eight races were brought into the fold of the empire, but not all the races in the area. Slavery was outlawed before humans went to the stars. The empire consists of hundreds of worlds and thousands of ships.
Two weeks ago the Centurion Emperor Gaius Crispus Victor was assassinated, now two claim the Imperial Throne and civil war has descended over the Empire. The enemies of the Empire threaten to take advantage of the empire’s weakness, and immigrants, new comers into this region of the galaxy bring further instability. These threatens the Stella Imperium Romanum, Roma Nova must not fall.
