Side note: This game is set in the Half-Life 2 universe. In this Alternate universe, Gordon Freeman doesn’t escape stasis, and it is up to a group of civilian rebels to stop the combine for good. A civilian turns off his TV, returning back to the couch he once saw as painful lump of nothing, used for sitting with a beer, and possibly a girl or two. Now, it’s an unexpected safe place for him to finally relax, despite the growing problem in our Dystopian Society.
Outside, flying scanners float around, taking pictures of new and old civilians to keep tabs on them on all times, Combine standing around in certain spots to keep people on their toes. A few stand around a civilian working, hitting them with an electric baton when necessary. People all around the world suffer with the oppression of the combine.
One day, two civilians receive a letter..
“Sewers, 0100.”
Sewers? 0100? It was clear that someone had been following them for a long while, but who could it be? Would you fall into the temptation of curiosity? Or will you turn it in?
