There’s a problem in this city. It’s always moving, always gnashing its teeth, taking in the innocent and spitting out, broken and beaten, the corrupt. It’s no surprise that people die, that people lie, that people cheat and steal. That all is normal.
Until a string of murders with only common thread occurs: A single set of fingerprints at the scene of the crime. They don’t match any criminal record, or are in any known database. The prints don’t match anything… Except for the next victim.

This is my first game as a narrator, so I ask you to bear with me.as I try and learn the ropes.of this whole thing.
I’m trying to go for something relatively simple, with only one or two players. I’m intending for a pretty dramatic, kind of gritty, story, but I can appreciate humor every now and then. There’s going to be a lot of writing, too, so longer posts are probably the norm.
I’ve played a lot of Storium games where people use it more for a role playing type of game. That’s fine and all, but not really what I’m looking for. I’m trying to experiment and see if a more “book-like” type of story can be created.
A couple things I want to stress: First, do not be afraid of weak outcomes! I plan on challenging you here, so (hopefully) you won’t have enough cards to make them ALL strong. It’s a learning experience, we can make it work!
Second, expect to play off the other characters! Don’t step on each others’ toes, but there WILL be some writing for each other. None of the characters are really “his” or “hers”. So keep this in mind when making characters.
