There was a war long, terrible and devastating. The Interlopers had a massive army, weapons and armour. We had courage, magic and the need for survival. It had raged until our King could not longer bear the loss of his people and asked us to lay down our arms. It was so and we fell under the yoke of the Interlopers.
They knew they would not have won the war, so the Interlopers went about destroying our magic. Anyone who had a connection to the magic was killed. Our King had not known that this would be the case - he had surrendered to avoid further loss of life, but the Interlopers were cruel and taking life was easy to them. Our King went into mourning as he blamed himself for the loss of so many innocent lives. His daughter was placed on the throne by the Interlopers, powerless to do anything to help.
The Interlopers ruled with cruelty and fear for the last 10 years. They have ravaged our land and ripped her up, taking what they wanted from the ground. Our King could bear it no more. The great and fearsome Elephant King took his guard and stormed one of their castles. They destroyed it and sent the Interlopers scattering. They began their preparations to leave our land, but they will not leave peacefully.
The Princess has gone to ground looking to help people in need and protect them from the retreating forces. Our King has returned upon the throne.
War is upon us.
This game is a fantasy in an African kingdom. There will be a mixture of Massai and other cultural groups put together. I will take some liberties with them as this is a fantasy. Magic has been devastated by the Interlopers and part of the story is returning it to the people. The group should have someone who is going to become a magic user however I have no predetermined ideas of what else the troupe may need.
The game has National Geographic level of nudity given the setting and the picture that I am trying to develop so if that may offend, please give this one a miss. I have only included one picture on the player cards as an example of what my pictures look like. Please add art - it helps the story and looks awesome when all your cards have something on them.
