Rewatching “Hunger Games”and I thought of a fun little game to run.
The Hunger Games have just begun. Shortly after the rise to power of President Snow, the latest game is about to commence. Now, to mark the 25th year since the Districts rebelled, President Snow brings in the idea of a Quarter Quell. The citizens of the districts will now vote on who will compete in the Hunger Games, a way of reminding the rebels that they are responsible for the Games existence. Now the Districts will choose their Tributes. The unwanted, the undesirables…or the ones most likely to win?
The games take place in a time that is less mentioned and there is no direct victor stated, so there is high likelihood of success for any. There is no major canon points to worry about!
Notes on possible character death: Scenes that are possible death will be(often)marked as such for certain challenges. However, do not feel discouraged, as you still will be a part of the game! If a player character is killed, players become gamemakers. That means you help come up with challenges, contestants, mutts and other obstacles for the surviving tributes to deal with!
