Fictional characters have it hard: showing up every time you open the book, not getting paid (the authors keep it all, the skinflints), being on call 24/7, getting killed off…the list goes on….
But between pages and outside of scenes, where do they go?
Welcome to High Tea and Hyperbole, a tearoom nestled in out of the way shelves and dusty bookends where characters take a load off to relax, catch up on the latest news, complain about plot devices and even sometimes, explore other books.
Narrator note: only characters based on fictional characters or classic literary works will be accepted. To avoid any issues, please select public domain characters only.
Nature cards should reflect a stock character/archetype that best fits your character. Feel free to add as needed.
Subplot cards should reflect your character’s general story arch in the book they are from.
Characters are welcome to come and go freely and join or leave at any time.
