It’s been forty-two years since the portal to Hell opened in the small town of Hallbrook. They expected an invasion of evil and blood… what they found were refugees, defectors and immigrants. Hell was a prison of damned souls and for forty-two years they’ve been entering our world through the portal.
The small town has changed in that time. It’s called Hellbreak now and it’s turned into a thriving city. The portal from hell attracts the scientific as well as the religious. Tensions run high even at the best of times, various religions, civil rights groups and greedy businesses all struggle for control of the portal. Add to this the rise of half-blood children and the occasional full demon arrival and you’ve got quite a dangerous town.
It’s a good thing that you’re no ordinary police officer. You’re in the Demonic Investigation and Recovery Group. You’re a fresh recruit looking forward to your first day in the DIRG but it looks like it’s not going to be an easy one.
