Our healer has left the group and I am currently looking for a new one
Story:
War is coming to the Realm of Astal. Things that have not happened for hundreds of years are happening once more. The Vampires have been awakened, Goblins are burning down villages and groups of trolls are destroying small towns. Through all of these events a figure engulfed in shadows has been seen in the middle of the chaos. Some say he is a madman, others say he is a dark sorcerer and some think he is just a myth. Something has to be done or the death count will be too great.
Monsters and creatures of the night have always been a part of this realm. Humans, Elves, Dwarves along with many other races have coexisted with then for centuries. Up until recently nothing has been done to stop them because these incidents rarely ever occurred. Now they are happening almost simultaneously and too many lives have been lost in such a short time.
A group is being assembled. Posters have been hidden all throughout the realm. Not just anyone will be able to find them. On these posters is a map to the location were the team will be chosen:
If you have found this poster I urge you to come to the location detailed on the back. A team is being assembled to fight the monsters that are roaming the land. I am looking only for the best of the best. Five will be chosen for this task under the command of Royal elven Ranger Aarinhien of Black Wood Forest. He will be the one to choose you and he will be the one giving the orders. You are to be at the stated location by the seventh day of the third cycle of the red moon. From there we will see what this realm has to offer and whom is up for this task.
Setting:
You have been lucky enough to find one of these posters. You are one of the few that has decided to become part of this group to help stop whatever it is that is going on in the realm.
Applying:
I am looking for 5 players. Along with the application I would like the reason your character has chosen to accept this offer to be part of this team. I give you the freedom to create your own Strength, Weakness and Sub Plot Cards. I would ask that you choose one of the already created Nature Cards, but if you have come up with something the I think will fit into this world I may accept it. I’m fairly easy going so have fun creating your characters, the more creative the better.
Story Pacing:
My plan is to make a post in this once every evening. Possibly more depending on the players. I want to keep true to the 2-3 scenes a week schedule.
