Back in 1980, a D&D group were playing their game, and then got sucked into the fantasy world they were playing in. You don’t play those people.
However, their characters, min-maxxed beyond belief, also came through to the “real world.” You don’t play those people either.
Everyone knows they came from another world. They single-handedly slayed a dragon on national news on Christmas Day, 1980. Now they’re living in obscurity. They managed to settle down and make families in the real world.
Their kids are now going to high school. You play these kids.
Growing up in the shadow of your heroic parent is tough. Growing up different is tough. High school is tough. Small town life kind of sucks.
And now your parents are talking about going home. This is causing some friction.
The city of Greyhawk is the county seat of the fictitious Braunstein county, Washington. The nearby suburb of Blackmoor hosts the University of Blackmoor. The population of Greyhawk, Blackmoor and the nearby town of Greenwood is maybe 45,000. It is a five hour drive to Portland and the same to Seattle. Greenwood is the home of the Washington State Penitentiary.
Greyhawk High School is the central secondary school of the Braunstein school district.
Here’s the minimum amount of information I need from your characters:
The race and class(es) of their heroic parent. (You are the child of ONE hero, not more). Use old school D&D.
Their age, and year in school. If your parent is a half-elf, also specify your race.
And any details to support your Strength, Weakness and Subplot cards.
Optionally, include your birth order.
