This is not our world, its earth but not the one you know. Enter a strange new world of tech before its time that will take you from the ends of hollow earth, to the edge of space. The Club to the outside world is seen as an International High Society type deal hosting the World’s richest and most influential men and women. The club hosts Royalty, Scientists, Engineers, Detectives, Big Game Hunters, and Magicians, but beneath the surface the club is more than anyone can believe.
The Club exists to uncover the unknown, to protect humanity from the dangers it’s not prepared for and overall to keep it’s secrets from the outside world.
(Important Historical Notes: The Roman Republic exists in a second form, it controls Italy, Spain, North Africa, and Turkey primarily, it’s a major power ruled by Consul Aulus Otacilius Bellus and is allies with most European states. France is ruled by Napoleon the Fifth while Prussia is ruled by Kaiser Otto von Bismark. England still has Queen Victoria as it’s leader and Russia still has it’s Czar.
In the far east the two main powers are Mongol China ruled by Qutli Khan while Japan is ruled by Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu. In the Americas the Inca and Maya stayed strong powers to rival europe’s as Sapa Inca Qayaina rules the Inca and Kab Ajaw Mayapan XIV rules the Mayan Confederation.
The United States of Columbia (USC, Columbia being the name of the continents) the USC controls the Eastern portion of the continent east of the Mississippi River, Several islands in the Mayan Gulf and Caribbean Sea and large territories on the eastern half of South Columbia. The USC is ruled by President William Sherman.
Other countries exist, feel free to make things up. Technology wise most tech is more advanced then the time period, but more primitive then today though cybernetics, cloning technology, robotics, etc. are around.)
Narrator’s Note:
The year is 1876, all of you are members of the Club and know each other, men and women are considered equals in the club, but most of the club is males and for that I’d like to keep a balance of if I have five the most female characters I’d accept is two, and if I have ten players 5 females max. This game is for long term players.
