In 1880s New York, the rich and powerful Stallworth family have long enjoyed time in the limelight as one of the city’s most respectable mainstays. This prominent republican family led by Judge James Stallworth, has recently taken up the cause against the blighted cesspool of sin and debauchery that is the Black Triangle, a series of filthy streets merely blocks away from the lily-white mansions of Grammacy Park.
At the heart of the black triangle are the Shanks, a small family steeped in crime and vice. Three of the Shanks have been killed by the Stallworths, two sentenced to death by the Judge and the last shot by the Judge’s grandson. The rest of the family, now exposed by the Stallworth’s relentless campaign, have been forced to flee to New Jersey under cover of darkness.
Now, months later, the Shanks are back in New York and they want revenge. But… What can a mere bunch of women and children possibly do to the most powerful family in New York?
