After the passing of the nuclear winter, humanity flourished once again. Ivory towers rose over the ruins of major cities. Technology was found and improved upon. Robotics advanced. Life was cushy and people were happy.
That is, as long as you didn’t cross the council. Those who break one of society’s laws – among other things – will find themselves on a one-way trip to the snow-slums.
The outcasts are allowed back if they somehow are able to return. This never happens, as the world below is devoid of the cushions of upper life. Death runs rampant alongside sickness and monsters.
Thus, communities of outcasts have become common. Assuming you stay alive and sane enough to make it to one, most allow you to join them as long as you help the community and do not bring harm. Most communities are now generations old, and many of the older families have mutated – hidden blades of bone, bestial qualities, you name it it probably exists.
You are a part of one of these communities, be it new blood or old. The upper-dwellers in the nearby spire-city have marked your community for destruction. You know not why.
Some wish to move. Others to fight back. And even others wish to invade the spire. What happens to your people will depend on your actions and choices.
