The year you’re in doesn’t matter any more, considering the fact that different planets and cultures calculate theirs differently. All you know that you’re in somebody’s past, future, but you are your own present.
It took years for it to happen and you began to wonder if all the governments were ever going to finish this project. There’s a new organisation on the rise, said to serve and protect every living being in the universe. They’re called the Intergalactic Patrol, as far as you know. So far, they mainly have space bases and very little headquarters on some planets.
In theory, what they do sounds good. They can’t exactly intervene in wars, but otherwise they try and keep the peace, rid the galaxies of pirates, and so on and so forth. Kind of like if Earth had one big police station.
But, of course, there’s always going to be a problem for something that is supposed to branch out in so many different cultures. All you can do is hope for the best.
