Sword, prayer, pen. You have served Hesenia from the moment of your birth. Neither war nor peace caused your faith to waver; even now it holds.
Hesenia, the never-watching goddess. She expects strength in life and promises immortality after death. She is just and she is kind, ferociously so.
Hesenia, the never-watching goddess. She is also dead–beheaded by her brother, the god Pasayiin.
What becomes of the godless faithful?
Notes: Setting information is sparse and players will develop the world as the story unfolds.
As for play preferences…
Characters: They must be a servant of the goddess Hesenia. This can be in any capacity or role.
Tone: Serious. That’s not to say it won’t be fun, but please respect the mood of the game.
Scale: Happy to let player choices determine.
Magic: Again, to be determined by players.
Card play expectations: Zero card moves are expected. I will play challenges frequently and give subplots/assets generously, but the focus is on character interaction and development.
Move expectations: None. Post as frequently as you like if it suits the narrative.
Agency: I expect players to be flexible when it comes to others narrating their character. Of course, any concerns will be considered and revisions requested if necessary.
Availability: This will vary; we all have RLs so no pressure. Just let us know if you’ll be away at length.
Character submissions: Keep them short (approx. 200 words). Say as much as you can using few words as possible. Concepts should be focused; we can fill the gaps in play.
